2024 African Conservation Awards Nominations Now Open

The Game Rangers' Association of Africa (GRAA) is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2024 African Conservation Awards. This prestigious annual celebration recognises the vital contributions of rangers and their supporters in conservation efforts across the magnificent land and seascapes of Africa.

We are excited to announce the modification of the categories as well as the introduction of the Marine Ranger category.

Now in its 13th year, the awards are once again made possible with the support of the Game Rangers’ Association of Africa. The GRAA takes great pride in hosting and organising this event, which is endorsed by the South African Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment.

Together with our Awards Patron, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, we invite conservation supporters from across Africa to submit their nominations under the following four categories:

• Best Field Ranger
• Best Marine Ranger
• Best Ranger Team
• Best Ranger Supporter

Save the Date: African Conservation Awards 2023

This year’s African Conservation Awards, taking place on 16 September 2023, is going to be an incredible one! Taking place at the Southern African Wildlife College, in Greater Kruger, South Africa, this is a perfect venue to honour some of Africa’s most outstanding conservationists.

60 nominations from over 11 African countries were received. With some very tough competition, we look forward to celebrating the winners at this year’s awards.

Now in its 12th year, the awards are made possible with the generous support of sponsors CNEI. The GRAA takes great pride in hosting and organising this event, which is endorsed by the South African Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment.
